1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of marriagegroup.media and to prospective and active partners who interact with us through our website, application forms, alignment assessments, and partner communications.
The experiences delivered by The Marriage Group — including the Marriage Every Day platform, courses, and workshops — are governed by their own privacy notices presented at the point of sign-up. Where this policy and a The Marriage Group product notice address the same data, the product notice controls for that product.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
From partners and prospective partners
- Identifying details you provide when applying or starting a conversation: name, role, company, email, phone, website, and similar professional information.
- Information you submit through our partner application, alignment assessment, and any follow-up correspondence — including your category, intended audience, and how you describe your offering.
- Account credentials if you create an account in any partner-facing tool we operate.
From couples and ministry leaders
We do not directly collect personal information from couples or ministry leaders through this website. When a couple or ministry leader uses a The Marriage Group experience to request an introduction to a partner, the contact details they choose to share are received and processed by us solely to facilitate that user-initiated introduction.
Automatically, when you visit our site
- Standard log information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep the site working, remember preferences, and measure aggregate traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
3. How we use information
- To review partner applications and respond to inquiries personally.
- To facilitate user-initiated introductions between couples or ministry leaders and the partners they have chosen to be connected with.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and partner-facing tools.
- To send transactional and partnership-related communications (e.g., application status, account notices, updates to active partners).
- To comply with legal obligations and to protect the rights, property, and safety of our users, partners, and Marriage Group Media.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade partner or end-user contact lists.
4. How we share information
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- User-initiated introductions. When a couple or ministry leader chooses to request an introduction to a specific partner, we share the contact details they have provided with that partner so the introduction can take place. This sharing is initiated by the user, not by us.
- Service providers. Vetted vendors that help us operate the website, send email, host data, and analyze aggregate usage. These providers are bound by contract to handle information only on our instructions and to keep it confidential.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, partners, or Marriage Group Media.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to customary confidentiality protections and continued application of this policy.
We never share couple or ministry-leader personal information with partners without an explicit, user-initiated request to be connected.
5. Your choices and rights
You can:
- Ask what information we hold about you, request correction, or request deletion, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time — every email we send includes a way to update preferences or unsubscribe.
- Control cookies through your browser; some site features may not work if essential cookies are disabled.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at partners@marriagegroup.media. We respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
6. Data retention
We keep partner and applicant information for as long as needed to manage the relationship, satisfy our legal and accounting obligations, and protect against fraud or misuse. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure; if you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
8. Children
Our website and partner program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. International users
Marriage Group Media operates in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S. under U.S. law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the website or, where appropriate, by direct notice to active partners.
